Best simpsons guest star?

Mine was when the Rolling Stones were on the Simpsons and they tried to help Homer be a rock star :cool:

I liked the episode with the McCartneys. It was all 'tongue-in-cheek' as they focused on Linda's eating habits and free-spirit lifestlye.

Oprah wasn't a bad one either

I believe it was U2 on the top of Moe's but then someone pulls up in a limo and says something like "Thats been done before."... Damn who says that?

It was the "B-Sharps" that were playing on top of Moe's, and it's George Harrison that pulls up in a limo.
U2 were in the episode when Homer became head of sanitation. They sang a song about cleaning up the rubbish. (Wasn't the song a version of a song from the Willy Wonka film?)

(U2 did do the rooftop thing in real-life, in their Where The Streets Haver No Name video)

Wasn't there one where Nyles & Frasier were on together ?? I seem to remember somthing where both were on. I will miss Frasier too. We are up to the last season now.

Yes sadly that was the last time the Beatles ever performed togerther. IIRC it was on top of there Apple Corps. Building back in 1969. That was about Three Years before my time though.

Shame that the Recording Assiociations out there are promoteing non-talented, Soda-pop moveing acts like Britney (pepsi?), or the 'American Idiot' (opps Idol), whp are pimping Coke. Are just to lazy to get off there Arse and discover or possibly redicover something like the Beatles or an Elvis. What a time it must have been when every note in Rock history was still fresh, and new. And the next great Band was infuenced by an older one. As were the Beatles to Elvis and his peers.
