Well let me tell you about that... long story.

I was born in Utah cause my dad had taken on a job there when I was born. My dad and mom were from California (LA) and thats where my older brother was born (1973) as well as my younger sister(1979). So we moved to CA shortly after I was born and we lived there for a few years. Then we moved to the Seattle area (dads job) so we lived there for a long time. I consider myself to be from there actually. I was raised there. Went to High School in Ohio (yuk) and then joined the army and travelled all over. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell (not far from Nashville) where I met my wife and we have moved around a bit since meeting. My job had just let me go in March. I recently moved from Boston back here to Nashville. My Daughter was born in Boston. My wife's family is from here.

So I now live here :) told you it was a long story. But I am HEAVY into music been listening to it and loving it since I could walk. Had a little turntable playing the hell out of the E.T. Soundtrack etc. Loved and still love 80's music! :) Basically everything except southern rap. I dont get too into country either. I can listen to it though. I am just not a fan.

The best purchase I have ever made was my 4th gen iPod 20GB model. It is the best thing for music lovers! I absolutely love it. My brother convinced me to buy it. He lives in San Francisco (where I am sure the streets are filled with people jamming to iPods).

Yeah I occasionally need help. I am admittedly lazy and truthfully the iPod "manual" or little book it came with is pretty skimpy on details.

Feel free to share your musical tastes in the music forums.

Perhaps in a month we'll have you listening to southern rap, prepare to lose a lot of money to music!
