Aaah!
I need suggestions...
I was saving up for an iPod for about 4 months, and then the PSP came out... Instead of buying an iPod, I bought a PSP, so I could have music + the whole movie/game combo. Then I start saving up for an iPod again, hit $100 (3 weeks later) and my PSP BREAKS AFTER FALLING OFF DESK!!! Soo damn weak for a $250 system. Now I don't know what to do! I still haven't told anyone my PSPs broken, I don't know if I should try to make money now and buy ANOTHER PSP, or buy the iPod like I've been trying to do. + I've seriously run out of ways to make money, did all the small jobs I could do around my area, and I can't get a real job anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions, on money making, and on what I should buy when I get the money?

The only warranty for my PSP doesn't cover 'accidental damage'. Only 'manufactured damage'. The thing is..I really don't know which I want more. I want to replace the PSP because if my mom ever found out I broke a $250 portable console 3 weeks after it came out, she'd basically take all my electronics and hide them until she got over it, who knows when that would be. That's really the reason I want to replace the PSP, not because i NEED one. The only other reason I'de want the PSP, is for lunch in school (we have Lumines battles). I barely ever play my PSP at home. I still have the PSP, the screens cracked, you can't really tell its broken unless you try to turn it on, because it doesn't turn on. So everytime my mom walks in my room and sees it, she knows I still have it. That's why I'm thinking of getting the iPod and replacing the PSP at a later time, maybe when they start releasing it without the value pack.

Was the PSP bought with cash or a credit card? Usually gold and platinum VISA cards and MasterCards offer insurance coverage that extends the manufacturer's warranty if you purchased the item with the card. The coverage is automatic, you just have to provide proof of purchase on the card, and an estimate of repair cost from the manufacturer or servicer. I'm not positive that they cover accidental damage like this, but it's worth looking into it.
Unfortunately, if it was bought on your Mom's credit card, you'll have to tell her about it so she can contact the credit card company. But she should be less upset if it is going to be covered.

TELL YOUR MOM!
Adult's have ways of getting things fixed. She maybe a little more persuasive than you with a sales clerk.
Act now so that no warranty runs.
PLEASE TELL YOUR MOM.

Perfect story right here..
You got home and opened the psp and you noticed it wasn't securely tight and it wiggled at some points when you touched it. You started playing and it came apart.
