Best free games

I know for a fact that this community is big on games. This thread is devoted to your favorite freeware games of all time. I'll start off with mine:

Torus Trooper (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/tt_e.html)

This is a cool little Japanese-style shooter where you pilot a little ship through a never-ending course full of enemies. The vector graphics are not only a nice effect, but end up looking pretty good to look at too. In this game, you don't have lives, but a time limit. Everytime you die, you loose 15 seconds. Everytime you destroy a boss or advance to a particular part of a level, you gain time.

Little Fighter 2 (http://home.hkstar.com/~marti/)

This is a bit of an oldie, but a goodie. This cute fighting game packs a lot of characters (including a few hidden ones), a story and battle mode, and special moves. You can play with up to 4 players on one keyboard, but it also has online play too, allowing up to 8 players to battle it out at once.

America's Army (http://www.americasarmy.com/)

America's Army is a popular online first person shooter that puts you right in the virtual battlefield.

Grand Theft Auto 2 (http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/)

This is a game that needs no introduction. Experience GTA pre-Liberty City.

I'd have to say the best free games are the old ones that are free now that the companies wnet under (Commander Keen for Example)
I love classic games
Also theres this "XBall" Paintball Gamemaker game that is quite fun to play, I don't have a download llink
Also, anyone who can actually get me the download sites for commander keen, please tell me, all I know is my brother got them off the internet, but he was a jackass and wouldn't tell me the site.
Oh and, I did own those games, rootbeer got spilled on the disks though >_>

Has to be "Beneath a Steel Sky". I played this game on my Amiga and still consider it one of the all time best games I've played. It was released as freeware last year and you can download it here ( http://www.scummvm.org/) (along with the ScummVM program required to play it).
