It has to be registered to make 1st person shooter.
and i dont think it recked microsoft.
Even though everyone has one it is still getting some tough competition with iRiver.
They can play video and are $10 cheaper that the iPod.

Discontinued. iRiver: you guys are sooooo stupid.

you could add mouse functionality (a must have on that kind of games) and.. four generation ipods :)

I don't get it either.

While the iPod itself is not a threat to Microsoft, it's ability to build customer loyalty to Apple most certainly is. I think that the MS campaign "PlayForSure" is an example of MS responding directly to that exact Apple threat. (And ha ha ha, by the way, they should name that "PlayForSure,WellProbably...Maybe,Sometimes...Often NotAtAll" because it obviously won't play on iPods which own the vast market share for portable digital music devices at this point.)
