review of DLO case/armband
The case is very high quality. My only beef is the headphone hole is too small for my e2c's, they work, but theyre resting on neoprene so theyre probably not as secure as they could be. However the e2c rarely come out ( I think mine have come out once maybe twice and that was with some effort/mistake involved). THe neoprene band works fine and it can accomidate fairly large arms, mine are 16'' and I might be hesitant if yours were too much bigger.
THe only thing that annoys me is the lack of access to the slider switch. During excerise you dont need to touch it, but during a regular day of listening, say at school, it is nice to be able to access it. Solution: turn your ipod on in the morning, and just put it in the case. When ready to listen, just push play, wait a couple of secs for the thing to warm up and your good to go. To turn off just push pause and it will turn off by itself. I have not noticed any battery drainage probelms with not actually turning the thing off with the slider.
note: to tame your headphone wires when using an armband. Wrap the headphone wire under the arband a couple of times, then plug it in and youre good to go
my two cents
