iPod remote purchased from Amazon
I purchased the iPod remote from Amazon (not Zshops) about 2 months ago. The power switch cover kept popping off, and yesterday it popped off and was lost. Apple didn't seem to keen on replacing it when I talked to them, but I didn't have time to really argue about it, so I was going to call back today. They kept saying that it doesn't have a warranty because I didn't buy it from Apple and I should go back to Amazon. Amazon isn't going to want to deal with it, and since it is an Apple product, it should be covered by Apple. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
