Remote Control and In-Earphones
My dog chewed on the lovely new earphones i bought as well as convenintly yet very appreciative to chewing Only ONE button on the remote control. Thank god i just bought my mini maybe a month and a half ago. What is the procedure with getting a replacement to they require S&H payments, do i have to send anythin back to them (i.e: remote, earphones, documentation of pruchase) anythin like that. Thank you in advance from me and my dog. :)

Translation: I haven't paid for a remote control or in-ear headphones, but I would like to have them. If I say mine broke - will they send me replacements without any proof of purchase and without sending in the older ones?
Answer: If your dog chewed on them, you're SOL, your warranty does not cover that. HOWEVER, the procedure is that if you say your earphones/remote control broke (the buttons stuck, one headphone died), they will send you new ones without requiring a proof of purchase and without sending in the old ones. Be warned that they do occassionally ask for the old ones.

Thnx for reply and no that was no my intention. I've since bought Sony Headphones since Apple doesnt offer an alternative to its earbud designs. As remote, i will get it fixed since i dont see why i should have something defective after paying an overpriced fee of $80 with taxes. Thnx again.
