griffin italk vs belkin voice recorder showdown!
I purchased a griffin italk a few days ago for my lecture class and it sounded so-so. I tried pluggin in a external mic, hoping to get a better sound. But it doesnt work, something that has to do with ipod 4g. And I didnt realize there was 2 revisions of the iTalk(crud). I was at walmart this morning and they had a belkin voice recorder onsale for $30. i picked it up and hope to do some comparison test between the italk and voice recorder. so far, i like the belkin more cuz i dont hear the harddrive spinning in the beginning like the italk. i will run more test in a few days.

I've been using the Belkin vr and I really like it. I'm able to take voice notes and record brainstorming sessions with my writing partner. Sound quality depends greatly upon which direction I have it facing. If it isn't getting sound directly, it can get a bit fuzzy.
