Error Message when purchase songs
I'm new to this, I just got my son an ipod and we purchased two songs on itunes, however they won't load. This is the message we get:
There was an error downloading your purchased music. An unknown error occurred (403)
Use the check for Purchased Music command.....
Any ideas...???

Contact iTunes customer service. The link is in iTunes under 'Help'.
I'll say this once agin... ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS! I purchased several albums the other night -- totaling 43 songs. 42 of the songs downloaded, and one will not.
I immediately filled in the help form, and the next night received a response telling me to turn off McAfee security services because if they are enabled I will not be able to download songs from iTMS.
I clearly explained to them I downloaded 42 of 43 songs on the invoice, the invoice shows all songs were downloaded with the exception of the one I can't get, and they come back with this useless response which has nothing to do with my problem!
I am STILL greeted with the "You have purchased music that you have not downloaded Would you like to download it now?" message every time I start iTunes. I STILL get "An Unknown Error Occured (-50)" when I try to download the file!
The iTunes staff appears to be a bunch of simpletons!

Are you going into the Advanced tab and using the Check for Purchased Music tab there? Try that and it might do the download correctly. Good Luck!!

I do that as well, and it still errors out. They've refunded me the 0.99, but now I have to figure out how to get them to remove that song from my queue.
Thank you.
