Alphabetizing songs on playlist

hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew how to alphabetize the songs in a playlist. Like, having the songs in a playlist appear in alphabetical order ON THE iPOD, not just iTunes, because I already know how to do that.

I managed to do it for a playlist (and I dont even know how), and now that I add new songs it appears in alphabetical order in iTunes, but when it gets on my Leon (my ipods name) it has the previous songs in order and then the newly added ones at the bottom

so if anyone could help, thanks a lot

Well, here's the closest way I know to do that...

1. Create a new playlist.
2. Open the playlist you want sorted and click the Song Name column header so that it is sorted in alphabetic order.
3. Click Ctrl + A to select all the songs in the list.
4. Click and drag to the new playlist just created.
5. All songs are added in alphabetic order to the new list.

It's not perfect, but that's the only way I know to do it. Hope that helps!

thanks for the help. now i was wondering, do you have a way for going that for a smart playlist? and isnt it kind of tiresome (i dont know if that is a word) for having to do that everytime you add a new song?

Just found this method several minutes ago!
1) Set up the songs in the order you want (by artist, song title, etc.) in iTunes first.
2) Right-click on the iPod playlist in iTunes, then select "Copy To Play Order."
3) Voila!

After over three months, I finally figured this out! =)
