Skips first 1/2 beat of every song

I'm having an issue with my iPod Shuffle where songs don't play exactly from the beginning. If a song starts with a drum beat, for example, I'll hear about 1/2 of the beat. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.

i've had this problem too with my shuffle, but only for a very few songs (like a handful out of hundreds). however, it's consistent for those select few songs.riceman at 2007-11-15 12:57:28 >
