help - clicking ipod and folder with exclamation point
I have a 3rd generation 20 gig that is about 8 or 9 months old. Here's the short story: out of nowhere it quit working. When I try to turn in it on it makes these awful clicking noises and the apple logo appears for about 10 seconds, then changes to a folder with an exclamation point. I can get it sometimes into disk mode, but it still won't mount. I can't reset it, or if it IS reseting, its not making any difference. Does the clicking mean its really serious? I've never heard it make noises like this. It wasn't dropped, nothing dramatic happened, it just quit.

Apple article - iPod shows a folder icon with exclamation point when you turn it on ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61003)...
