I am trying to help my boss with his iPod. He turned it on this morning and the screen was "fragmented" - for lack of a better word. There is one blank horizontal stripe through the center and all other text/graphics have little vertical hash marks through them. I have searched all over the forums to see if any one else had a similar problem and found nothing. I did a soft reset (I believe that's what its called - holding menu and play simultaneously). That didn't solve the problem. I've suggested to him that he wipe and reinstall the software when gets home - but aside from that I have no idea what to suggest.
