Music Stored On iPod -- Updating?

Hi there guys!

My only computer is a laptop, and I have very little disk space when i have my music on here (14gb). I was wondering if it was possible to store my music on my iPod, stream it off the iPod and then when i acquire more music is it possible to add the music onto the iPod without having ALL of my music on my hard disk?

Thanks!

Yes. Just make sure that iTunes isn't set to autosync.
Then you can copy songs to your ipod manually whenever you want, and then delete them from your computer.
And via iTunes you can then play the music directly from the ipod.
Programs like Anapod (see downloads) will even allow you to stream from your ipod to other computers.
But I wouldn't just rely on your ipod to store your music. Don't forget it's a portable device. So backup the music you delete somewhere more secure.
