Please help!

I was wondering...would I be able to fix a cracked screen? Would I be able to take it to, perhaps The Apple Store, and have it fixed? The LCD is not cracked, it is only the sheet of glass above the LCD. It is a diagonal crack from the upperleft corner that extends to the middle of the screen. I'd be happy if you could tell me if it is possible to fix it and what the cost of it might be. Thanks in advance.

I accept all responsibility for cross posting and I do believe you were very fair in your discipline (administrator). Yet I still wish to further clarify my question. I've already read the posts and I have come across those websites, but I was wondering if it would be possible to replace ONLY the glass sheet, not the LCD, at a local Apple store. Also, I was wondering if I could laser engrave the Ipod, at a price of course, after I have had the Ipod for a about 8 months. If you have a 4g or 3g ipod, you would need to buy an entire new front plate. They run for about $40 I believe. You can get your ipod laser engraved at any place you can find that does it. I don't believe apple will do it after you've received it.moe_4eva at 2007-11-15 13:31:19 >
