My iPod, when connected to iTunes on my PC via the USB cable, will disconnect and the reconnect itself approximately every five minutes. This will happen whether it is sitting idle or transfering music - though it occurs more frequently when I am updating the iPod. Although it disconnects itself from iTunes, the 'Do Not Disconnect' message is still displayed on the iPod itself. Is there anyway I can prevent this as it is becoming increasing frustrating to transfer and delete music without this happening?
