Use iPod to sync Windows and Mac?

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting an iPod, and I'm wondering if you can use it to sync the iTunes library of a PowerBook and a PC? It's just getting annoying having to copy everything from one computer to the other.
Thanks,
Weiran.

Hey and welcome to the forum.

If your format your iPod to Windows then you can transfer songs onto it from both PC and Mac. You will want to set it to Manaul though otherwise when adding the tracks from windows, the Mac will just overide it when you connect it to it, and vice versa.

I'm hoping iTunes will have two ways synchronization soon, in this case your music library will be the same on mac and pc.

Thanks guys, being in the UK, I think I'll get a friend to buy one from the states and bring it over when she comes round. So much cheaper!
