ok i have a laptop with windows 2000. I had no problem getting the ipod to work but all of a sudden on day, the computer and itunes would not recognise the ipod.
I have no idea why, i did not make any great changes on the computer.
so now im using my mates laptop with windows xp.
i just cant install the software.
its installing and it gets to the end of the bar but then it just stops.
it doesnt say anything about successful installation.
sometimes i get some error messages saying it was unsuccessful.
it depends on which installer i have used
i have tryed the one that came on the cd with the ipod and i have also tryed the most recent release but it just wont work
