Looking for the perfect case

Hi, I bought my ipod a few months ago, and now, I'm looking for the "perfect" case for it. I've looked over the reviews in this forum, and none of the cases described really fit what I want. I am looking for a Ipod Mini 2G case, made out of preferrably metal or silicon (sp?) with dock connector, top, screen, and click wheel protection, but still able to be accessed without opening the case. (for click wheel) The case also shouldn't have any hinges or be overly bulky (like the waterproof cases), and the price should be under or around $30 Canadian. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

I really like the Terforma Mini case (if you have a Mini)

Yeah, but the problem is that it doesn't have click-wheel protection.

It sounds like you're looking for a Lajo Exoflpmini or Exoflpmini-fb. The first has a pocket clip. The second has a flat back. The cases are silicone, with a thinner silicone click-wheel protector. The top is covered with holes for the headphone port and slider. The bottom is totally covered, but flips open to provide total access to the bottom of the Ipod. No hinges. Make sure you get an Ishade when you order. The Lajo Ishade is a hard plastic screen protector that works perfectly with the Exoflpmini series.

Hm... but how much is the ishade, and how well does it seal? Also, is it thick enough to handle some impact?

My Capdase aluminum case has an inner rubber layer, followed by an aluminum layer on top. They're two separate pieces, and both seem pretty tough. It also comes with an "unbreakable" (thats what it says on the packaging) screen cover. The only thing that lacks protection is the click wheel, which I fixed by using an overhead transparency and using that to protect it.

An Ishade and an Exoflpmini case will cost you total of $21.00, plus shipping from Lajo.biz. The Ishade plastic is just as tough as any of the other plastic screen protectors out there.

I have no idea what you mean when you ask "how well does it seal". The Ishade is a hard piece of plastic that slips between the iPod and the hole in the case. It fits perfectly in the hole.

What I mean by sealing is the rubber sealing in the back, the flap sort of thing that you flip back to insert the ipod.

As for the Capdase, that seems pretty good, but it doesn't look like there's much protection for the top or bottom. (ports, etc)
