how to put songs from cds to ipod!

i know that there has to be this "CD" thats in the source list but theres no such thing! so i cant click ADVANCED<GET CD TRACK NAMES. how do i do it? pls im a new mini user. thanks a lot!

it looks like itunes isn't recognising an audio cd. I assume you are wanting to copy music from a 'normal' cd, not a cd of mp3 files.

if you are using a mac, does the cd appear on the desktop?

if you are using a PC can you see it if you double click 'my computer'?

im using a pc. windows xp. yes it does show in MY COMPUTER. if i click the "audio cd" twice, itunes pops up but all it shows is my normal library. no cd tracks at all.

did you look at the list on the left for "Audio CD"?

yes i did. there is no AUDIO CD on the left on sourcelist. no such thing. whys that?!

Is this a CD you burned or a store purchased CD?
