No damage whatsoever..they are extremely easy to apply with instructions (included) and remove just as easily with no damage to the unit or glue or any residue left at all. I have had nearly 70 different designs on mine (I change them out nearly daily to show them off) and have yet to have any glue remain!Cheers!
