Best Car stereo (w/ Aux in)? JVC? Alpine? Sony? Pioneer?
I've decided to upgrade my stereo to listen to my iPod (My cassette player broke). All I want is to connect via RCA to mini or mini to mini (is there a difference in quality here?) adapter, I prefer using my iPod directly than having to play w/ the car stereo (there's also the chance I might want to access something on my iPod). I don't need booming bass or megawattage & I like a wide assortment of music (classical, world, indie...), a basic, high quality stereo that'll last (though my car is getting up there in years), is all I need. I don't care about lots of features, just features that do work & as easy an interface as possible. MP3 & CD-R playability would be nice (or is that standard by now?).
Also, does the stipulation that using an (RCA) adapter makes a CD changer inoperable mean that you can't play a CD in the CD player? or that you can't add on one of those multi disc player things?
