not sure where to Mount my iPod
I have a 1988 Chevy Celebrity and it has no Cup holders and no real place to mount my ipod. Here is a picture of my dash. Looking for any ideas.
Also I'm going to change out the JVC that in now for the JVC KD-AR560 with front Aux in.

thats what I was thinking myself but was worried about streching the cords out. I'm pretty sure I'm going to use the Pocketdock.

why not mount it left to your jvc headunit. you got space, plus you can see the tags on ur ipod.

If I were you, I would just drill out a couple holes in the bottom of that dash, than put something to hold the dock or some type of cord where you can just plug it in for easy access.

i think you should use one of these:
handheldsonline.com.au/catalogue/category86/category134/category146/product537
and mount it right to the left of your head unit, thats what i bought, and it works great. It is completely adjustable so you can position it how you like. you can view pics of my install at:

EDIT: i acutally bought mine on ebay for 25 bux, but you can buy them direct from arkon for 30 or 40 i think.

Bvic, is that on there with double sided tape? How do you charge it?

i'd say mount it to the upper right of the stereo. you don't really need to see what is behind that and if you recess it a little it will be blocked from direct sun
