im bout to get an alpine CDA-9847 for my car. what is the name of the cable i should get.

Do you want control the iPod from the head unit, or are you just looking for an aux in with control being from the iPod.

Head unit control requires the KCA-420i. It's actually a box and two cables: one going to the HU and the other going to the iPod.

i hate the KCA-420i ipod controler. i rather use the ipod interface than on my alpine. the AUX cable is Alpine KCA-121B.

how do you like your 9847? i'm thinking of getting it. is there enough bass in the unit??
