yeah, i agree with churnopol. maybe battery increase too if apple gets a hold of a really long lasting battery.

I don't think Apple will give the Shuffle a FM Tuner if it hasn't even given the full size iPod an FM Tuner. Maybe they will go away from the no screen and put a small LED screen.

there isn't much more they can add except a screen and a capacity upgrade. i don't think they'll add an LCD though, because that's the whole point of the shuffle.

the creative muvo was exactly the same thing 4 years ago, yet sold peanuts. the shuffle has no screen and is being praised as finally an mp3 player for the masses....except the exact same thing was done 4 years ago by creative.

idon;t think they'll put a screen because there whole ad right now is life is random.. how random would the shuffle be if it had a screen? i wish it would get an fm tuner though.

They won't give it a screen. They'll probably just introduce some new capacities and sell it in different colours.

Maybe so but did they have the advertising, brand name, design, functionality and simplicity that the iPod shuffle has? You cannot simply say that Creative Muvo was exactly the same as the shuffle, because the shuffle has succeeded much more than the Muvo ever has, meaning that they can't be the same. If they were exactly the same then the Muvo would have been a huge success just like the iPod shuffle.

When's the Expo in Paris? July? Do you think anything will be released then?

My views on what the iPod shuffle will have are big. The iPod shuffle is great now, and I can see it being greater. I think that Apple will boost the shuffle up to 2GB, or more. I do think that they would put an FM tuner in there because they shuffle is more portable and then people could carry that while running and listen to the morning news, or something like that. The small LED screen may come later in also. I would hope that they would add something small like this because I don't like the fact that the iPod shuffle doesn't have a screen. That is mainly the only reason that I don't want to purchase one just now. I want to wait later on to see what they will come up with. As for the pricing on these, I think that if they bring in the 2GB iPod shuffle, they will set that price at around $100-$125, the 1GB around $80-$90, and the 512MB around $60-$75. Those are the most reasonable prices right now that I can think of. I wouldn't pay any more.

Those are my outlooks on the iPod shuffles future.

You know, creative labs is a much more established name in sound than apple is. Unfortunately, they came out with a good MP3 player before MP3 players were mainstream. In the early days of the iPod no one knew about that either, until it started catching on as a fad. I think if they were to start over in this day and age where everyone wants everything they own in their pocket, creative would've trumped apple on this one.
