If you like the iPod buds and want new ones and still are under warranty then go to Apple support and put in a repair service request but instead of selecting the iPod for service click on the drop down window for the accessories. The warranty entitiles you to free earbuds also.
If not then check amazon.com. They should have some in your price range.

Go to Apple support>ipod (in the drop down window) & click on repair once the page comes up.

I just bought Koss The Plug for $15 and I love them, I don't notice any difference in them from my sony MDR-G051s, I think they are called that, which are around the head ones, and the Koss' are very comftorable, I got them from KMart

The Koss "Sparkplugs" are a nice set for under $20. They are white with a light gray cord. Can be too "bassy" for some have great isolation.

heres an update if anyone cares:p :
about a week ago, i bought the sparkplugs. they sounded good and i liked the bass, but i just didnt like the way they were sticking out of my ears (they looked werd) i returned them and due to the reviews on this forum, i decided to check out the sony ex71. theyre cool, but i dont think its worth the price comparing them to the sparkplugs. anyways i think i'll stick with these for now, who knows? maybe i'll buy the sparkplugs next:)

SparkpLUGS!
ROTFLMBO! :P
They are acutally great earphones for BASS. If only Koss would redesign the casing smaller for ergonomic and aesthetic form, they would be a great bargain, as well as being an inexpensive, but sonically exceptional set of ears.
& smart looking, to boot!
Koss engineering designs are exceptional. Except where form meets function.
C'mon, Koss!;) (Hire some cute, artistic, design engineers, fresh out of graduate school, and full of imagination, & boot the olde farts. Time for them to retire, and Koss to jump into the New Century!)

Sennheiser makes a couple cheap pairs of earbuds that supposedly sound good (I don't use earbuds, they hurt my ears!), mx400, mx450, mx550, i believe are around $15-25.
If you're interested in the clip-on variety, try KOSS KSC-75, it can be found for $15. I have the KSC-35 ($30) which supposedly sounds better than the 75 (I haven't heard the 75) but both are very good for the price.
The ipod earbuds sounded like crap to me, frankly, and they were painful for the 30 minutes I wore them! The KSC-35 is much more full sounding and has much better bass and percussion detail than the ipod earbuds.
