Ipod suggestions + Itunes replacement

Hey there,

I have a iPod Photo 40gb and wanted to come up with a few "realistic" suggestions for the future and share them with you. I'm sure you have other suggestions, i would be delighted to read.

Missing "realistic" features:

- Possibility to reserve the next song to be played ''?_ la Iriver". You listen to a song and you want to tell the ipod to play that specific song or that specific folder after the current song. By simple pressing a button we should be able to reserve a song or folder to be player right after the current one.

- Display the bit rate while listening to a song. So that you can now why the song sounds so crappy or to be able to put a 1 star so that you know you want to delete that song

- Possibility to change the contrast. It is really bright in some situations

- More games or possibility to delete some games and add new one. Is there a place to find new games ?

- High score counter in the Brick Games and Parachute

- New "snake like" game

- Gapless playback like in itunes.

- Any ideas that should be added to the list ?

Second point: I'm looking for a good itunes replacement to let me organise my music and upload it to the iPod (and best let me pick money from the ipod to put it back to my computer).
Since musicmatch cannot work with iPod anymore, i have Anapod but i don't like there program. What do you guys use for synchronizing your music for the iPod instead of Itunes.
I really hate that itunes, it is slow, and when you plug another ipod on you computer and want to add some music the ipod it erases what is already existant coz the ipod was linked to another itunes, pfff

Thank you for reading and hope some of you will have a few comments.

The contrast and bit rate are possible

However, games.. I doubt Apple would spend much time worrying about games, since this has been brought up before.

Continous play, if iPod finishes to play an album, or a playlist, then it should go to next one. If it's the last one, then starts from begining. It's actually safety feature, when I drive and album ends, I need to select another, so I get my eyes from road to iPod.

I completely agree and will add it to the list. It is called gapless playing. Some players like the creative jukebox does that...

This is also a feature i would like to see especially when you listen to a mix separated into different small files

For iTunes replacement, I highly recommend Anapod, good organization of your songs, fast response, and you can upload/download to your hearts content.

One feature I'd like is the add to playlist... Basically I'd like to listen to playlist 1 AND playlist 2. So I'd like to start playlist 1 playing, then add playlist 2 and have shuffle go through the two of them. Such as my comedy playlist mixed with my driving playlist.

Currently my understanding is you'd have to create a new playlist with this combination, and I don't like that option.

Thank you for your answer your playlist idea is good.
I'm really looking forward to the song reservation feature i talked about in the beginning.

Concerning Anapod, i have heard good an bad things about it but apparently it is one of the best if not the best but i don't like the identification they do with your ipod serial. Meaning you cannot use the programme with an ipod from a friend etc...

I use Xplay so far it has less function but seems ok.
