I bought one of those velcro adhesive sport wraps (basically a black, reusable ace bandage) and had the tailor stitch a pocket into it that my ipod slips into. I used and extra flap part on the wrap, but you could choose any color fabric you wanted to make the pocket

I can wrap it anywhere on my arm or writst and is stays snug or lose as I want, and its already breathable and wicking because of the sport wrap is designed that way.
