Best and Cheapest way to Clean an ipod?
I have a 4g 20gig ipod and the front is all dirty from use. I know there are cleaners out there but I find paying 15-20 (Candian) for some wipes a complete rip. Whats the cheapest and best way to clean an ipod? Is there a reason to buy those expensive cleaners?

If you just want to CLEAN your iPod (not polish out scratches, etc...) you might want to try Monster iCleaner (http://www.monstercable.com/computer/productPageComputer.asp?pin=2105). It is not the cheapest, but it's much more economical than those "wipes" and it comes with nice chamois microfibre cloths. I picked up a pack with TWO bottles of the stuff and a chamois at London Drugs for $20 CDN. I actually bought it for cleaning the LCD on my laptop, but it does a great job on the iPod as well.
If you are really on a budget, I would suggest just using a damp SOFT cotton cloth or old t-shirt. Do NOT use glass cleaner like windex or anything that may have an abrasive in it, as you will scratch and/or eat the glossy coating off you iPod.

Oh yeah, Allsop Clearview Wipes (http://www.allsop.com/product.asp?cid=16&p=27938) are really cheap at London Drugs, you get 100 for $7.99 CDN, but I found they dried out in the package before I could use all of them. The spray I mentioned in my post above is more economical, but you have to buy it in the two pack to make it a good deal.

If there are skratches, Brasso will get them out, and leave it looking shiny and new. Just make sure to use a soft cloth.

I picked up a can of Brasso yesterday. I haven't opened it yet. Is this strickly for use on the back or can I use all over. I'll search the forums for answers too but since it was mentioned here I'd figure I'd ask.

Believe it or not, Brasso works best on the front surface of the iPod as a scratch-remover. Here's the huge message thread which discusses Brasso and the iPod:
