Well i figured why not ask they seem to be everywhere so...
Apparently theres a Professor at UPenn that is using iStory Creator to help his class and for activities.
Way cool in my book.
Have any of you guys heard anything about iPods being used like this?

Have any schools used them in the same way as Brearley School, a private school for girls on the Upper East Side of Manhattan?

I planned on using the Shuffle as a jump drive, just because it can. However, the towers in the lab have the USB ports way off to right, next to where plastic juts out, and the shuffle won't fit. I'm not losing any sleep over it though. I don't use my 3rd Gen for anything, that stays in the room now mostly.

I just got it.. and already have some files stored on it.. Going over to a friends house to work on his computer, and I needed some drivers that I downloaded.. they would not fit on a floppy (yes I still have those) and I did not want to burn a CD.. I decided, what they hey, I wanted to show my friend the Ipod..

i think i am going to buy a shuffle to use as a thumb-drive cuz the one i have now is so beaten up, it has taken 8, 20ft plunges to the floor below, for some reason it always falls off my loft.

i have heard of some high schools using them for foreign language homework and i know duke university is giving them away to incoming freshmen but theres no real use for that except to boost student opinion of the school. i guess they come with a message from the dean and the school anthem. oh by the way, the high schools using them are just LENDING them to the students, they record the serial number and check it when u hand it back in and if u lose it yo gotta pay for it

My spanish project is on my Ipod.. and next week I am going to use a mac at school to set up my calender with iCal..

I have been looking at Ibooks.. maybe after I get a car this summer.. I might be able to get an Ibook next semester... Powerbooks are too much for me.. but I want a 12-inch Ibook.. nothing fancy.. but I need a new laptop for school... why not a mac? It would look good with my Ipod..

Why use animmated GIF's when you could use good ol' JPEG's. No fancy animations to take the focus away from the data. A "PowerPoint" is supposed to be about conveying information, not how ugly can you make it be.
