Apple online store delivery times
I was wondering how long it takes in the US to receive an Apple product (direct order from apple.com)
I live in Europe and I'm very disappointed with the service. I recently ordered an ibook and it apparently takes a minimum of 10 days to actually have the product in my hand (this is the advertised time). In reality, expect this to be 13 days BEST CASE even when the item is in stock.
Oh, and this excludes weekend days!
Is this the same in the US? I somehow feel it's not.

I ordered my iPod from the UK site just before Christmas and received it within three days, even though it originally stated 7 to 10 days on the web site.
I thought that was excellent service.

do you know where your ipod shipped from?
I imagine ipods are in stock "locally". Computers are shipped directly from Shanghai. ...the time it takes they might as well just row a boat here.
btw, I thought europe is supplied from Apple HQ in Ireland :-/

My iPod came direct from China according to the postage details on the delivery documentation and the markings on the package.
The Apple HQ is in Ireland but I think the UK has its own on line Apple store because we still use the

Yes, iPods are delieverd from Shanghai, China.
And the nearest Apple repair centre to the Uk is the Nedtherlands.
How long has it been since you ordered your ibook? (Not inc weekends)

I ordered my iBook on the 11th. It's been 10 days altogether, or 6 without weekends. According to the shipping track info it's somewhere 50% of the total time.

mate to be fare, 6 days isnt that long...so give apple some more time.
