does mini leak current when charing?

I can feel current when i touch the aluminium case shile the ipod is charging. is this normal or is my ipod faulty?
either way, seems like there is an insulation problem. If this is happening while charging surely it's constantly leaking power while being used.

Are you being SHOCKED! :O
Or is it more of a sensation when you rub it? I do not have a Mini but I had a few iPod's over time 2x 1G and 1x 3G that seemd to have shown some signs of what you discribe (I think?), I would guess that it's Harmless enough though...

No, it more of a tingling sensation when i rub my finger over the aluminium case lightly. (and its not the hard drive spinning or anything, it's definately electric current).

My mini is only 1 week old, and it's something ive noticed since the first time i plugged it in. so if it's a problem that is suppossed to develop over time i guess i should bring it back to the store??

Surely this means its leaking current all the time, and reducing the battery life. Some insulation problem?

Yeah I would guess that's normal as I said all my iPods' did / do something simular. Although it's not as noticeable when you ensheath your iPod in an iCondom (Rubber Cover), though...
