hard drive replacement

this should be possible, yes? i mean, i say a tutorial on how to swich the HDD in two different iPods, so why cant you put in a new hard drive? i was thinking about this, and getting a 20 or 40 gig hard drive, and pop into my mini, anyone know how to go about this with the firmware and such?

Im also interested in finding out what hard drive I can put in my iPod for wexample this seems to contain the same 20GB drive as 3rd Gen ipods...
