When does the 5g drop??
Hey guys. I am new about to pick up an ipod today, but before I do I wanted to know when does the 5g drop.
I tried to do some searches on this forum but your searches have to have at least 3 charcters.
I just don't want to buy the 4g and in a few weeks something new drops. Like a 30GB or something.

The truth is that only Apple knows for certain, as they never announce future release dates on any of their products.
Rumours, however, are saying sometime in late spring or early summer.
If you check The Future iPod" forum, you'll probably see a lot of discussion and speculation.
Also, as a tip, you can perform searches on shorter words by surrounding them with asterisk characters (for example *ipod*).

i don't think a new 5G will be out intill about July or August, but people think a new mini could be announced very soon.

i am buying a Sony PSP for games and video, so I am keeping my iPod for a while. I just bought the 4G in Sept.

i agree with that. the PSP looks awesome. When does that come out in the US?
