The MPAA is taking BitTorrent and eDonkey down.Check this out

but if you read the article, it says it is really going after those who set up the file sharings, not those who download off of it...there are too many that download off of it...

I know,but that means bad news because more than likely they will end up stopping the upload of movies.

All I use bittorrent for is overseas anime such as Naruto so I hope it doesn't affect me.

You can't download using bittorrent or eDonkey/eMule without also uploading at the same time (unless there are hacked clients out there). That's how the networks work -- everyone who takes also gives.

i use ABC (another bittorrent client) for downloading episodes of the simpsons and other TV shows. it seems that no one really cares about that yet.
