Applecare Questions

Ok as far as I know, it costs $59...
That's all. Why would I need this, after my 90-day warranty expires, can I still buy it. What does it come with? What does it cover?
Thanks for any help.

# 1 Re: Applecare Questions
The iPod has a 1 year warranty not a 90 day and it extends the warranty coverage to 2 years instead of one. You can still buy it and Apple will add 1 yr to your already existing plan increasing the time period to 2 yrs.

You will have 2 yrs of telephone tech support as opposed to the 1 incident in 90 days and if you have a problem with the iPod, earbuds, or remote Apple will replace it. Having the iPod covered is worth it seeing that problems do arise periodically.

You can open the pdf file on the right hand side and read it to learn about what it covers:
