I think my ipod has the audio defect, I just got it this last summer but I never heard it until I got sharp hp-md33s in -ear earphones.
It's a high pitch noise that lasts for a few seconds when i switch tracks.
If this is the audio defect, is there anything I can do to get it fixed since I've already had my ipod for almost 6 months.
my ipod is laser engraved too.

hmm ok i just realized i can hear it with normal earphones if i listen closely...

btw should i send it in for the ipod service?
