Apple Online Support Help!-urgent!

hey there, im screwed...i think...here's what happened..

my ipod headphones are screwed for the second time, i send in a repair report explaining what happened, next thing i know they're telling me that a box will end up on my doorstep to collect my mini...MY MINI IS FINE I ONLY NEED NEW HEADPHONES, whats going on?

last time there was a button to click on for headphone replacememtns, but not this time, the system is changed so i thought ok, maybe they sort them out seperately now (im hoping thats whats happening otherwsie im stuffed, as far as im concerned, it seems that they dont read the description of the problem).

Any ideas on what the deal is? im desperate here, do i call them? do i email them? IM DESPERATE:(

thanks

I filled out a report yesterday on my headphones also. Got the same message you did. I think I'll just put the headphones in the box when I recieve it & see what happens.

Cheers!

you can always email them at:

mailinrepair@apple.com.au

quoting serial number and the AUDR number (if you have it!)

otherwise just put the 'phones in the box when it turns up!!

Update;

I never received the box. I got a new pair of headphones in the mail today. Less than 24 hour turnaround! Very good job Apple support!!
