It's just a bit fat to push home into the USB ports. No biggy, but it would be annoying if you didn't have an extender to hand.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't realize an extension cable was needed with the eMac, so I was unable to use the shuffle out of the box. Even though I haven't gotten mine yet, I've still be widly researching everything to make sure the shuffle will work ok with me. I came to the conclusion that it's probably not going to fit into the usb ports on the craptacular dells at my school thus virtually eliminating one of the main reasons why I want it which is to use it as a USB key. However I came across a pretty decent extender product that I think other people having this problem should check out. It's called the flexUSB and if you google it you'll find a ton of places you can get it from for cheap 6-12$. Its basically a male-female extender but its really small so you dont have to carry around an long male to female cable. It bends in all kinds of ways to make it fit easy. Anyways I just thought I would mention this as an option to people who might have emacs or old imacs or PCs that have usb ports that might not fit the shuffle.R34Skyline at 2007-11-15 13:00:17 >
