Its SO tempting
Hey guys,
I've been looking at the iPod Shuffle for the last few days and you know, I've been getting tempted. Initially, when I saw it, I thought that the design was crappy, but after watching Steve's keynote and hearing you guys, I've been getting been SO tempted.
I already have an iPod Mini that's almost full (902MB left as I speak) and I'm pretty sure that I'll have it filled by early May latest. I have enough cash to get an iPod Shuffle and my heart yearns for badly for it.
Yet the problem is this, I'm also considering the iPod 5G 40GB when it comes out at MWB (hopefully!). Yet, every time I look at the Shuffle, my heart sorts of like melts.
What do you guys think?

Go for it Kristiano, the 5g won't be out for months and you won't regret the shuffle purchase. I can't wait for mine to turn up :D

Hmmm.
I would wait until the new iPod.
Because, if the new iPod comes out, you buy it, if not, shuffle time.
You don't NEED the shuffle now, you don't NEED it at all, it's just cool.
You have a pretty cool magazine that I followed in your sig, maybe you could ask apple for some endorsements, products for review?

I think I'll wait til February when I'll get the Chinese New Year Money ;) before deciding.
I'm tempted by the 1GB thing...I want it for gym...

I don't see why you would if you already have an iPod mini.
I'd get a 4G or wait for a new iPod if I were to upgrade.

Seems like you would be happer with a 4G iPod than a Shuffle.

You say you're almost filling up your iPm and worried about it, which makes me think that you want something with more storage. An iPod would be more geared towards storing large libraries than an iPs would be.
But hey, that's also the difference between $299 and $99 (or $149) (US American Dollars)

The iPod shuffle is going to be my first iPod, and I have a lot more music than 120 songs.
That's ok; it'll be great for skateboarding and walking from class to class at school.
I'll save up and eventually get an iPod, but not right away. I'll want to enjoy my little iPod shuffle.

I'll take a look at the iPod Shuffle after CNY probably, then calculate the budget. I definitely want the 5G iPod but as I mentioned earlier...the Shuffle is just SO shweet.

Ive also been very tempted to get one, but i think ill wait a while. I think ill stick with my G4 20gb ipod for now.

Go for it! I got one and its just amazing.
Pure joy, man. Don't hesitate. Have fun gettin' one though... pretty backed up. It's more of a 'order it the day it comes out or don't get it for a month' kinda deal with Apple.
