Selling out in Apple Stores?

Have you rung any stores to ask?

the 22nd is the release day of the Mac mini, iWork 05, and iLife 05. the Apple store are slowly getting stock of 512 mb shuffles as we speak and will have supply before the 22nd. the 1 gb shuffle might well arrive AFTER the 22nd.

i think the word is hotcakes ;)
Newport Beach claims they have th 1gb models.

Apple Store Alderwood Mall (Lynnwood, WA) should be getting their stock within a few days. I already had a 512MB model on reservation, so I should be notified by phone or email when they arrive.

i'd have gotten the 1gb if it were available. but i didn't wanna wait and $99 is too cheap to pass up! Menlo Park Mall, NJ had about 15 left when I got mine today, around 5pm. only 512mb in stock.

Yes, they are selling out in stores! They're first come first serve; you're better off calling to make sure they're in stock. I was lucky enough to snatch one up at the Apple store downtown just before they ran out.

Well, I finally gave in and ordered the 1GB iPod Shuffle online at the Apple Store. Anyone know if it really does take 3-4 weeks for shipping?
