Re-format HD!

Hey,
I bought my iPod at Future Shop about a half a year ago and bought the extra warranty. The battery life isnt as good as it used to be(lasts maybe 3 hours). And so I am planning on returning it. Once you return the iPod to the store they ship it back to Apple. I dont want Apple to see that I have illegal music downloaded onto my iPod...so I wanna reformat the HD without affecting my Computer or my Music on it.

Any suggestions?????

as long as you've got the music stored on your computer, you can just restore the ipod. This returns the ipod to factory settings (ie. deletes everything)
