Hey
My ipod went flat while transfering files and now it just keeps on restarting all the time , just show the logo and resets again and again, does anybody know how to put it in offlion mode or something so i can format it?

I've dealt with several people with the dreaded "loop" problem. Everyone I've talked to ended up either returning it or sending it in to get it fixed, because they can't get it to stop long enough to format or do anything. I would try calling Apple about the problem and see what they have to say. E-Mail me at gregster25@comcast.net. I'll be interested to see what they have to say.

It has happened before and i somehow found something in the apple knownledge database that explained how to fix it by pressing the buttons in a certain sequence to put it in offline mode or something then i formatted it, I just cant remember what it was?

I think you're talking about disk-mode. To enable it, hold down Previous and Next at the same time when the Apple logo appears. I'm not sure if enabling iPod's disk mode will stop the loop, but it's worth a try.
