ipod wont play some songs?

any one out there having this poblem? I wanted to play a certain song...it comes up on the ipod screen...and a before it can play the ipod goes to the next song? This is a song that was purchased off of itunes and has played on the ipod before...and now it skims over it. any help out there?

you're having the skipping problem, a well known issue, try resetting it and reloading the songs on itboogy at 2007-11-15 13:42:18 >

so basically I have to start from scratch? If this is a popular problem, and rebooting is the solution...should I expect this often? keep in mind that the only songs that skip are the ones that I paid for from itunes...my cd loaded songs are flawless...heather000 at 2007-11-15 13:43:19 >
