windows 98 reformating

Can any one please help.I have just bought anapod to use my mini ipod on my windows 98 system.The programe asked me to format using the anapod tool,now the ipod is clean,no titles{playlists,artists etc}.When i tried to use my new programe it says the ipod needed resetting again to activate anapod.This after many attempts won't work.How do i reload the ipod firmware on 98 system? Have i killed it before even loading one track.
Can any one please help

Welcome to the lounge. You really should have gotten advice before and not after and yes you have. You need to restore the iPod back to its factory settings. If you have access to a PC with windows XP or 2000 then you can do this or ask a friend but you will need to restore.If you don't have access to an updated PC then try a cafe that offers internet access.
You need to:
1- Upgrade your computer
2-Sell the iPod if you don't want to do that
3-The instructions for windows 98 are in my sig.
