I recently bought an iPod off a friend, the only problem was that it didn't come with a charger. So i bought a USB Sync/Charge lead of eBay. It charged my iPod fine but It asked wether I wanted to update the Firmware so I accepted it, it is now asking me to plug my iPod into the mains to flash the firmware. Is there any way of getting round this problem, because otherwise I will have to buy a mains AC Charger.
