iPod Not Recovering After Reset
This afternoon my iPod froze mid song. No big deal I plug it in and reset it until the apple logo appears, ok good stuff.
However it now only does 3 things. It will have the apple logo up, it will shut off and it will show this strange icon of a exclamation point inside a triangle next to a folder (No idea what this means)
There is also a sound that is going along with this. It sounds like it is beggining to start up ( a low hum) then it increases and dies to nothing. It keeps repeating this until I shut it off.
Its got full battery and all that but its just not functioning.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, all Ive ever had to do in the past was reset it so this worries me.
Thank you for your time.
Oh and I attached a picture of the icon I didn't know :)

It could mean alot of things, I would force the iPod into disk mode and restore the firmware using the iPod updater. This should get things working again, but you will have to resync all your music again.

I realized I wasn't doing it in disk mode so I put it in disk mode and the same thing happened, I have all of the newest software but now it seems my ipod is not being recognized in itunes as well BAH!

Im about done. Last night I was hoping for some divine intervention and thats just what I got. My ipod worked for 1 hour strong and after 1 hour it is functioning a little. I can navigate the ipod but when I try to play a song it hesitates for 30 seconds or so and then plays 5-15 seconds of the song before either freezing for a few minutes of moving onto the next song where it freezes.
