I'm having exactly the same problem as this, I'll try to make it as uncomplicated as I can...

Some of the songs, when I try to play them, just skip, sometimes the next 10/20 songs before it starts playing, this means that if I try to play an individual album, it doesn't. I find that on some songs when this happens, I can keep pressing a combination of previous/next and then the song I want to play finally plays, but this isn't right... is it?

I have got iTunes 4.7 and the latest update for my iPod mini.

Please help as I only got it yesterday and want to listen to my songs!

Thanks

Nope, still the same problem. Could it be a problem with XP service pack 2?

Take a look at this thread:

http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66101

Go to the 2nd to last page and begin reading there. Myself and a couple of other loungers outline the steps you need to take to fix this problem.

It can only display a maximum amount of characters.

You need to use links to the next pages in order to view a large text file with ease.
