Shuffle within Playlist

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I have created many playlists now on my i-pod mini, but the playlists are playing in order of song by album. I want to set up a playlist, for example, to play all the Rock genre songs, but want to hear random songs within that playlist, I do not want to hear the songs in order of album.

Can anyone help...please!!

From your iPod main menu, go to Settings highlight Shuffle, and press the select button. It should toggle between OFF, ALBUMS, and SONGS. In your case, you probably want to select SONGS.
